Our baby is growing up fast....11 months already

4 teeth and full of spirit and lots of smiles. Our baby girl is really becoming herself and really making her way into everything. Zach is starting to understand that Molly is interested in "his toys" and his world. Watch out world, here comes Miss Molly!

Fall Pictures

We had some fall family pictures taken at the beginning of October. Will save a few as surprises when our Christmas cards go out. But wanted to share some too. They turned out great...and got some great ones of the 4 of us!!

Best Buds

Trip to Kansas

We went home for my Uncle Babe's burial service. It was a super fast trip but in the less than 2 days we were home, we were able to see a lot of family and a few friends in the short time...just wish we were home for a different reason.
Here are some of the many faces we saw:
Together with Julee & the Goeser girls, Zach & Molly held down "the kid table". Every Hawk event has a Kids table!

My Dad (my first best friend...and still is) With my Uncle Mel (my Dad's oldest brother)

My sweet Grandma, to Zach & Molly...GREAT Grandma. My Grandma has 11 Grandkids and 13 Great Grandkids. Zach & Molly are the youngest (as of now, at least).

Face prints

With the early arrival of cold weather (winter like temps), the windows are cold and oh so tasty. Molly loved making face prints on the windows!!

Hawk Family High to Low...Happy to Sad times

In the course of one week, my family had 2 really high moments
that were ended with one "larger than life" sad event.

Last Saturday, my uncle Babe was inducted into the Baker University Athletic Hall of Fame for his strong basketball career. Here are some of the pictures (from the cameras of my aunts). Tuesday, my Grandma turned 94 years young. As I tell her, she is an inspiration and such an important person in my life. I love our weekly chats. Here is a picture of her that Larry sent me on her birthday and then a picture of us in August celebrating my birthday. 94 years so good on you, my pretty Grandma!! Thursday, my uncle Babe went to heaven after a sudden heart attack (aortic aneurysm)...ending this week in deep shock & sadness. My family did a nice job writing up the man he was in the obituary: http://hedgesscottfuneralhomes.com/Obits/addprod.asp?productid=1342

My Dad's siblings...Larry, Mel, Dad, Lois & Babe in St. Louis last month.

We will miss you Uncle Babe!

Tis the season for LEG WARMERS

Is there a way to look at this backside without smiling? The wonderful thing about children is they will always find something to laugh about...and remind us that life is precious...embrace it, love it and laugh with it.
