Friends Cabin Weekend

Our group of four families have grown so close that we have had annual Friends Thanksgiving and Friends Christmas the last few years. This year, we added Friends Cabin Weekend! It was the most fun weekend ever! The Freeland's let us go up and have the place to ourselves which was so fun! 8 kids + 8 parents + 3 days = priceless! We boated, jet skied, tubed, skied, paddle boated, swam, played on water tramp, bocce ball....from dust to dawn...endless hours of giggles!! Such a rare find to have a group like this that all really enjoy each other!!We are so blessed to have each other!!

4th of July up north

A fun long weekend filled with fun in the sun and several firsts! I have spend 4th of July up north with the Freeland's every year since 1999! Though we have watched the Edina parade every year since we moved here in 2005...but this year we skipped the parade. It was too hot to spend the day just sitting in the sun so we headed up Tuesday after a little BBQ with our neighbors, Dan, Michelle & Ben Kersten.

With 3 attempts at skiing, Zach got up 2 times both for a total of 5 seconds but he was up!!  I don't think he knew what to do once he was up.  Either way, he loved it!!

Fun in the sun

Summer is in full effect and we can embraced with open arms! We went to the St Louis Park pool and had so much fun that we went back the next day. The kids loved the water slides and went on repeat for hours! We spent the evening at the Vierow's with the Grandstrand's playing and having the best time!
