Happy Halloween!

We had a great halloween! It was a beautiful day that turned into a chilly evening...but not before we got over an hour of trick-or-treating in. Molly hung with big kids for most of it...she even walked...as soon as she saw the door open, she would get excited. Zach & the bigger kids would race to every door and pretty sure we had at least 4 pushed of each doorbell. Such a fun night. 3rd year of really trick-or-treating...all with Zach's buddies...always fun.

Generations of Best Friends

Lauren Carmichael, Zach, Brady Carmichael, Macie Osier, Molly, Mia Osier & Leah Carmichael (Chase Klausman was there too but missed the group shot)

It was great to get together with 3 of my favorite friends from over the years and watch our kids play together. We played at Gage Park, the park we grew up coming to.

Heather Osier & I were best buds all through high school. Brett has been one of my closest friends since the 4th grade...through high school, college and even today.

Heather Carmichael & I met in college freshman year and have maintained a special bond. I love that she is back in KC so I can see her when I come back.

Topeka Pumpkin Patch

This is the same pumpkin patch we came to as kids but it used to be just a pumpkin patch. Now it is full of fun things for the kids, we never made it to the pumpkins. The kids had a great time!

Molly climbed the full way up the slide all by herself...she was so proud and loved it.
But as too tired to do more than once.

Megan's Baby Shower

Megan is having a baby boy due on March 3rd!! I will be an AUNTIE! This was the best time for us to both be home...so time for a shower! It was at a little Tea House where they had "tea party accessories" for dressing up.
