Molly is 19 months!

Molly is growing up too fast! She is a little girl now and ready to do anything that her brother can do. Her best friend is Samantha (age 5). She talks and sings all the time...and loves to laugh and make others laugh! She still looks like Great Grandma Hawk and Grandpa Hawk with those beautiful blue eyes. Random curls in the back of her hair like Mommy. Molly loves her big brother and playing with him...but she loves being a little Mommy playing her dolls and trying on shoes. We love our little Dolly Molly!!

Poppi's new boat

Sunday Funday...met Kevin, Deb & Brett to give Poppi's new boat a spin!! Daddy, hold on to them...they might jump!!

What a fun filled weekend...couldn't have ended any better...a beautiful day on the Lake Minnetonka boating!!

Happy Birthday Owen & Olivia

We spent Sunday morning in Northfield celebrating cousins Owen & Olivia's 4th Birthday! They are newly residents of Northfield (same city as St. Olaf College where Andy did his undergrad).

The kids had a great time running along the river, feeding the ducks and playing together!

Shelly is Zach & Molly's teacher. She never wants her picture taken but she was by last week to see the balloons for Grant and I got a picture. So much has happened in our daycare family in the last year that we have gotten to be closer and I really consider her our friend...like an aunt.

Joanna's visit

Mommy's good friend from college, Joanna, came in for a visit. She happened to pick the date of the half marathon, but it was still 10 weeks out...so she decided to run with me while here for her visit. It was really fun to have her here...and I loved that we got to run together.

Sunday (6/6) Mommy ran the Mpls Half Marathon

Andy, Grandma Jo, Zach & Molly were at mile 9 cheering...just what I needed.

My goal was to finish in 2 hours...and not walk. I wasn't completely sure this was achievable...but I did it! And beat it! I was really proud of myself. I ran for my little friend Grant, his strength got me through it. I was happy to know that he knew I was running for him and how much we love him. He lost is battle to brain cancer later that same day. This one wasn't for me...it was for my friend who couldn't run and play anymore...now he can...but is so missed!!
