Kate & kids in town!!

Kate and her kids were up from Chicago to see her family over spring break...lucky us we live her too and got to see her!! So fun to hear all the kids planning together!!Zach (5), Ben (5), Emily (8), Koren, Ryan (6 wks), Kate, Molly (3), Stacy, Ben & Kate (6 months)

NYC work trip

For work, I had to go to NYC but I ended up on an earlier flight than my team so I decided to give myself a running tour of the city. I haven't been there since 2004 and that was a quick work trip...so I was only there once to sight see in November 2000. So it was great to get to explore without the snow. Stopped along the way to take pics on my phone...enjoy:) Started at Battery park where the Staten Island Ferry departs and tours depart to see Lady Liberty up close. Then up along west side of the island where you can see Hoboken across the water.

Then through Soho down towards hotel, when I saw the signs for the Brooklyn Bridge...so I decided why not run across it too before heading back. Such a fun time! Tuesday night, we went to the NIT semi-finals at Madison Square Gardens. (UMass vs. Stanford) and (U of Washington vs. Minnesota) so cool and great to see Goldy Gopher!!

Wednesday was full of meetings but that night we went to dinner in Times Square then out where Caroline met up with us!! It was so great to see her!! The place we went to had a patio on the top floor which is where we were...pretty sweet view huh. You can see the Chrysler Building behind us.

Grandpa in town

We had such a fun weekend with Grandpa!! He kept the kids on Friday while we were at work...they had a great time. Even when to see a movie...Molly's first movie in theater...The Lorax!!

Oh Mr. Z, you have no idea how hard it is for me to believe how fast you have grown and how much we love you!!


We grilled out for Zach's birthday with many of the members of his fan club! How rare do we get this many grandparents together...such a great time!!Grandpa, Papa Dave, Grandma Jo, Mamaw (Kathy) and her boyfriend Kevin.

It was the most beautiful St. Patty's day that I can remember...we grilled out with the Hardt's and had a great time playing outside!!

Family watch days only happen once every other month...the kids don't focus as much but its fun to get to see how much they have learned and how cute they are!! Tap continues to be Molly's favorite!!

We had a great time "bowling" which really was sort of bowling and mostly chit chat in the girls lane...but a fun night celebrating Megan's birthday!
