Molly Dolly II

Since birthday, I have called Molly, Molly Dolly. My own real life baby dolly.
Molly got an American Girl Doll for her birthday...I asked her what she is going to name her dolly. She says "Molly Dolly". I love it!

The doll looks just like Molly:)
Thanks Papa Dave & Grandma Jo!

Thanksgiving Birthday Baby...

We had four Thanksgiving celebrations over 3 days...2 included cupcakes and singing to Molly.

Friends Thanksgiving

Koren, Sara, Megan & Heather...my closest group of friends in Minnesota and we have lucked out that our kids and husbands all love each other as much as we do. We have celebrated many holidays and birthdays together over the past 4 years. So Friends Thanksgiving was such a natural...especially when we all get to eat Josh's cooking!!First of many celebrations for Molly's birthday...when your birthday is on Thanksgiving you celebrate whenever there is Turkey served.
The Dudes (David, Roland, Andy & Josh) posing so nicely...dorks:)

When our four families get together, it is always a wonderful time...with all the fixings. So much to be thankful for!!

End of week 1...remodel

Everything upstairs is down to studs and outside siding is off. Next week the roof.

Reading with Bailey

Bailey stayed over on Friday. The three of them had a great time. She even read Molly books before bed:)

Home Remodel begins...

For me it was love at first sight with our house, by the end of our day of looking (back in March 2005) Andy also agreed it was great. In 2007, we bumped out the back to make our tiny walkway of a kitchen into a great kitchen and mudroom. We have always known we would do more in time to get the kids off the main level. The time has come! On Tuesday, the construction began. They will be removing all the existing space/walls upstairs (2 bedrooms, bath and office)...raising the roof 2 feet at the highest point to have 3 bedrooms, laundry room, kids bath and master bath. The main level will be impacted as well so we have moved to EP to live with my MN family until mid February when its complete. I have put so much time into this remodel, so I know that I will still love it and it will retain some of the key things I love about old homes...but still a little part of me will miss the way our house looked. More pics to come in time...right now its just gutted on the inside. The roof goes off on Monday and should be up and look totally different by Wednesday. Crazy times!

Old Friends from my Consulting days

Gretchen (Trudy as I call her) and Jimmy were my closest friends at BearingPoint but I haven't seen them since we were at Sears in June 2003. We have remained in touch thanks to Facebook and email...and blogs. They were in Mpls and was so great to finally get to see each other after 8 years! How great to connect as if we still saw each other daily!
