Pool Girl

Andy was traveling last week, so I took the kids to the pool by myself on Wednesday. Molly was watching the bigger kids go down the slide then got a look in her eye and headed for the steps. I really didn't think she would do it but I followed behind to see what happened. Sure enough, Molly (my baby) climbed to the top of the stair and right into a big slide and went head first. I had to have another Mom catch her. Face full of water, she got up smiling...then another look in her eye and she went back up. This time, she looked at the one she had just done and went for the other side and did it again!! She conquered the two slides, smiled and was on to the next thing. I love her spirit...I can do it! So on Saturday, we had to show Daddy and this time get a picture. (Thanks Paula & Bella for catching her!)

Molly is 20 months!

Molly is now the age that Zach was when she was born (20 months, 1 day). She is full of spice, loves to be independent, tries things that most kids do at an older age especially whatever Zach does. She is still our sweet little cuddler...loves to give kisses and hugs! Molly is our little mama, she loves to take care of her dolly babies as well as any baby she sees. We love our Molly!

What a week for Mommy...last weekend 6 of my bestest friends from college were in town...just happens to fall on the same week as my monthly GNO with my MN gals! Girlsfriends are the best!

4th of July up North

We had a great 4th of July weekend! Celebrating with the Hardt's & Steensland's in Edina then we headed up north to celebrate with family. We went to both the Nelson & Freeland Cabins. Boating, Fishing, Playing...lots of fun! Lots of silly moments with the kiddos! Molly put the lifejacket on herself!!

Edina's 4th of July Parade 2010

The Edina Parade is one our favorite traditions. We have gone every year since we moved to Edina. Every year, w go with our favorite neighbors and bestest buddies...the Steensland's. Though it wasn't the same without Grant, it still a day full of memories.
