Mommy goes to San Francisco

Today, Helen, Eileen & I spent the day shopping...not without a ice cream break (Pinkberry).

This weekend was supposed to be Ellen's shower weekend for her baby girl twins due in June. But the girls came early! They were born on 3/18 at 26 weeks 4 days (around 2 lbs each). They are stable in the NICU where they will spend the next few months growing. Though we postponed the shower, I still came out here to support Ellen & Svai and meet the girls. Marci & Sherilyn were able to stop by and have a late lunch with me on their way to see Grandma Betty and the rest of Marci's family. My Goddaughter and our first baby in my friend group is already 6 1/2! She is growing up so fast and is always such fun!!

First day of Spring

We welcomed the spring with bringing out all the outdoor toys and furniture...so much fun we are going to have this summer.

We were dressed and ready for the Jayhawks today...but they apparently weren't dressed and ready to play for the win. (sad March madness!!)

Big girl

I blinked and my baby girl grew up! She was done with dinner ran into the living room and climbed up into the chair all by herself...who knew she could do that! She was so proud!

What country is this...

JAYHAWK COUNTRY (in the suburb of Gopher town)! We are uber excited the Gophers are in the Tourney...but the Hawks are Number one...and it is time to celebrate being a jayhawk!! When the Gophers get a number one seed, we will get a fan for them too. My neighbors actually asked me when the KU flag was going up...say no more...it is up!

Welcome SPRING!!!

With the beautiful weather (not sure how warm it was but car said 65), we spent the afternoon outdoors. Daddy took the kids to the park (some pics from his cell).

Then spent the rest of the evening in the yard...so nice to be outside again...without snow, boots, jackets. Love it!!

She is growing, healthy & happy (minus the exam & shots).

Baby Shower for Marjie

Mommy's good friend, Marjie is having twins (boy & girl)!!

Due in June though we know they will be here sooner than that.

I gave Marjie (and Ellen) all of my pregnancy clothes!! We thought it was funny that she wore the same dress that I wore to the shower that she helped throw for me...ironically! (Here is a picture from my shower Feb 2007 with Caroline & Marjie).

Boys Golf Trip (Big Boys that is)

Andy spent 5 days in San Francisco with Ellen's husband, Svai and some friends. They golfed at 3 different courses (one day they got 36 holes in). They had a great time!! Andy & Ellen (24 weeks pregnant with twin baby girls!!!)

Molly is 15 months!!
