Edina Parade 2011
The girls: Molly, Koren, Avery, Megan, Sara & Hailey
The Edina Parade has been a part of our 4th of July traditions since we moved to Edina in 2005. Every memory from the parade includes the Steensland's as we have walked up with them every year, but this was a special treat as Samantha was in the parade with the Edina cheerleader camp. She did a great job and it made the parade that much more cool.

For the last 4 years, the Hardt's have gone to the parade with us...and 2 of those 4 the Schulman's came too. The 4th of July is really our Christmas in July! It is such a special holiday for us..
our kids are the only ones that didn't want to take pics...but we finally got them:)

Celebrating Summer...Cheers!
Thanks Aunt Megan for the cool star popsicle making kit! It was the first time we had juice in the house, a real treat!!
Poison / Motley Crue in Dallas with College Girls
Kristin, Heather, Stacy, Marci, Jen, Koren (Jenni, Ellen & Kate missed this trip)
We graduated college 11 years ago but nine of us have remained close friends. We live all across the country but they are still my favorite girls. I cherish every moment we have together...even if they are short trips. Like this one, we flew to Dallas on a Tuesday in June for the Poison / Motley Crue Concert...and home on Wednesday. What a great mid-week break!! I like Poison but I love these girls. And if you ask me, if you are going to see a hair band, you have to dress the part!!
