Reading to Baby

Molly's favorite things...babies & books. So it is fitting that she would love to read books to her babies. Every night, when it is time to read books, she puts the babies in my lap and reads to us. I see so much of me in her. She makes me love the person I am! What could be better than that.

Sunday Fun

A really fun morning with Zach & Molly's buddies from school!! Tommy, Trey & Zach will all be 4 in the next few months and have been great friends since they were 16 months. Molly is really one of the boys but her friend Wyatt (18 months) is really her favorite. When I say, I love you Molly she will tell me "no Wy Wy" as in he is her love. Funny! You can see Molly isn't feeling super well this weekend...we had a lot of cuddle time. Though we did sneak in a moment for some art!

January Girls Night Out

My closest friends from college have spread out and we cover 7 states: Minnesota (Me & Stacy), Texas (Jen), Florida (Marci), California (Ellen & Jenni), Missouri (Kristin), Kansas (Heather) & Michigan soon to be Illinois (Kate).
Kate's family is from Minnesota so when she is here visiting them...I get to see her. Yeah me! I love my girl friends! We can have fun no matter where we go, what we do and when it is. Best Monday night in a long time!!

Christmas Cards

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is Christmas cards!! I love hearing from friends from all over. I love seeing the pictures. I love how they say holiday to me. In the past few years, I hung them on my tree. This year, I strung them together as garland for all my windows. Now that the tree is down, I am still able to enjoy them. They cover every window in our kitchen, dining & living room and basement. Take a look.

Bibbity Bobbity Boo -- Baby Changing

Molly is quite the little Mama. She loves to take care of her baby especially changing her diaper & clothes. She says Bibbity Bobbity Boo as she does it...it is so funny to me. I am pretty sure she is exactly like I was at a child. When do I break it to her, that the magic wand doesn't really work:)

Happy 70th Birthday Grandma Jo!!!

We had 19 of the 20 Nelson's all together at La Grolla to celebrate Grandma Jo's 70th Birthday!! First time we have all been together in a long time...was a great night!

Gingerbread Man decorating with Poppi

Poppi came over to celebrate Christmas on Saturday...which included decorating our Gingerbread Man. Zach named him Frosty, very fitting.

Happy New Year!!!

We rang in the New Year with out new friends & neighbors...the same way I have every year of my life...LOUD! (with pots & pans) Zach, Ben & MollyBen will be 1 in a few weeks. Zach has already been talking about when Ben is old enough to play football. :)

Andy & Koren and Dan & MichelleWe had a really great time! The night was complete with many competitive games of Catch-Phrase (Boys win), Track & Field on Kinect (Michelle), Dance Central (Koren), Boxing on Kinect (was down to Michelle & Andy...Andy won). Those are the pictures and videos I forgot to take...so funny!!
