The Nelson's go North...Molly's first time at the cabins

Good Morning & Welcome to paradise...I rarely take pics of the calm parts of life. But it was such a still and beautiful morning with the fog still on the water and not a wave in site. 6am Crosslake, MN. We spent 3 days up north at both the Freeland's and Nelson's cabins. They are 30 miles apart.
First things first...Bailey, Zach & Andy hit the water for some fishing.

Molly's first time in the boat...she actually enjoyed it and didn't complain too much about the life jacket.

4th of July is really a tradition with the Freeland's...it is the one holiday that we could never miss a year of celebrating. This is the 10th summer that they have had the cabin...and my 10th summer in Minnesota. 10 years of memories...here's to many more! Maggie is now 14, Brett is 17...remind you, I have known the Freeland's since Brett was born. They really are family to me...us.

Molly is 7 months old today!!

The many faces of Miss Molly, she is still such a happy, smiley girl! We love our baby girl! Here is a little download on her...As from day 1, she rarely cries and when she does it is because she is tired. Her favorite person to watch is her brother...he is so funny! Her eyes are still blue, hair is growing in more full and getting lighter each day! She is sitting and rolling around very well. Molly has tried almost all the veggies and fruits...and loves them all!

And she famous cheeks are ever present along we her rolly thighs! Too precious! We get stopped by strangers all the time to tell us how beautiful she is! I know the proper reply is thanks...but I always say...I know, well we think so too!

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

We surprised Daddy with a special golf outing with some of his other Dad friends...he didn't find that he had a tee time and they were coming over until that morning. He was very surprised! Turns out even Mommy can make a tee time:) Here he is with Andrei and Rob (Kirk missed the picture). While they were out, the kids and Moms met for lunch! Kirk & Jackie's baby Grace slept through the festivities.Then met up after naps at the pool with the Kittelson's (Andrei, Paula, Isabella --almost 3 & Gio--he is 3 weeks younger than Molly)

St. Louis

Mommy had to go to St. Louis for work. (BBY was a sponsor of the STL Race for the Cure). Molly got to come too! She hung out with Heather and her cute family while Mommy worked. It was so fun to see them even for the short 26 hour trip. Brady & Lauren are 3 and 1! Brady didn't want to take a picture though.

Ellen & Svai came all the way from San Francisco to meet Miss Molly...and see us! The weather wasn't great...but the boys were still able to golf both days...even in the rain. Ellen & I had lots of time to hang out with the kids, by ourselves and even got to see Stacy too!! Such a fun weekend!! Ellen even helped Mommy with a redecorating project!!

Playdate with Ren

A playdate for Molly. This is Ren Seim. Her Mom, Deborah, was one of my first MN friends (since 1999); we get together the first Monday of every month. Ren is 8 weeks younger than Molly. Here they were in April...then again today. They will grow up to be great buddies!
